Description: Festivals Acadiens et Creole is a Free festival, started in 1972 in an effort to keep Cajun culture alive. Since then, it has grown into a three-day event including the Festival de Musique, Bayou Food Festival, Louisiana Craft Fair, Louisiana Folk Roots, Culture sur la Table, La Place des Petits, and Downtown Alive. Dates for 2011: October 12-16, coinciding with Grand Réveil Acadien in Lafayette. |
